* the title of this project refers to a Czech idiom which can be translated as 'What a drag!'/'What a mess!'/'It's all a disaster!', but the literally means 'everything for mushrooms!'.

2024-2025
Some time ago, I returned to photographing mushrooms, which was my passion since my youth. Today, however, I am not only interested in their aesthetics or their fascinating biology, but also in their potential in the contemporary world. I have started experimenting with picturing fungi using alternative, environmentally friendly photographic techniques and materials. I work with biodegradable media – for example, with paper made from mushrooms, films made from agar or kombucha, I use cyanotype or various forms of image transfer.
I create my photographs on biopolymer carriers and then investigate whether these artefacts can fully decompose back into nutrients and become part of the natural cycle. I combine visual aspects with elements of scientific investigation, because I am interested in how this whole process is constantly changing. I believe that it is in the connection of art and nature that there is the potential for new forms of perception and creation.
